Lafayette Bus Inc operates with a strict principle of minimal data collection. We only collect the exact authentication information needed to verify your account and display your driver identity within our portal — and nothing else.
1. Information We Collect
When you authenticate with our web portal, we strictly collect public account identifiers provided through official OAuth services:
When you authenticate using official Roblox OAuth 2.0, we collect only:
- Roblox User ID: To uniquely identify your driver identity and verify community roles.
- Display Name & Username: To display your official name and @handle on your profile and navigation pill.
- Avatar Headshot Thumbnail: To render your visual avatar headshot inside the navigation pill and dashboard.
* We NEVER receive, store, or have access to your Roblox password, billing details, Robux balances, private messages, or inventory.
When you link your Discord account, we collect only:
- Discord User ID: To verify your server membership and synchronize community driver ranks.
- Discord Username & Display Name: To recognize your Discord presence.
- Discord Avatar: To associate your profile image with your linked record.
* We NEVER request permissions to read private direct messages (DMs), manage your account, or join servers without your consent.
That is all we take. We do not collect real-world personal names, home addresses, phone numbers, email marketing lists, tracking cookies, or financial payment data.
2. How We Use Your Information
The data we collect is used strictly for internal community functionality:
- Authentication & Sessions: Maintaining your active login session across the site.
- Visual Profile Pill: Displaying your verified Roblox headshot thumbnail and display name in the navigation bar.
- Role Verification: Verifying CDL status, driver ranks, and staff privileges for operations, routes, and events.
3. Data Storage & Security
All session identifiers and profile fields are stored in a dedicated, secure database. We employ HTTPS encryption, industry-standard OAuth 2.0 PKCE authentication protocols, and secure session management cookies to ensure that your data remains safe from unauthorized access.
4. No Third-Party Selling or Sharing
Lafayette Bus Inc does not sell, rent, monetize, or trade any user information with advertisers, third-party marketing companies, or data brokers. Your information stays exclusively within Lafayette Bus Inc systems.
5. Data Deletion & Contact
You may sign out of your account at any time. If you wish to permanently delete your stored profile and session record from our database, you may submit a request through our official Discord server or by reaching out to Lafayette Bus Inc staff.
